  • 2 ripe pears, sliced
  • 4 cups mixed greens
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a griddle over medium heat.

  2. Place the pear slices on the griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they have grill marks.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, grilled pear slices, blue cheese, and walnuts.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  5. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly.

  6. Serve the griddled pear & blue cheese salad immediately.
