How To Make Vegan Doughnuts
Turning vegan may look challenging for some, especially for those who can’t turn their eyes away from meat. But they just haven’t found these sumptuous vegan recipes that even non-vegans will surely enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup non-dairy milk (such as almond or soy milk)
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Oil for frying
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix non-dairy milk, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Heat oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Drop spoonfuls of the doughnut batter into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pot.

Fry the doughnuts for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

Remove the doughnuts from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Dust the doughnuts with powdered sugar while they are still warm.
