How To Make Slow Cooker Paella

A delicious Spanish rice dish cooked in a slow cooker, packed with flavors of saffron, chorizo, and seafood.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Arborio rice
  • 4 cups of vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon of saffron threads
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 chorizo sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup of frozen peas
  • 1 cup of frozen shrimp
  • 1 cup of frozen mussels
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the Arborio rice, vegetable broth, saffron threads, bell pepper, onion, garlic, chorizo, peas, shrimp, mussels, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. Mix well and cover the slow cooker. Cook on low heat for 4 hours or until the rice is tender and the seafood is cooked through.

  3. Once cooked, fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot. Enjoy!
