- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp maple syrup

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the Brussels sprouts evenly.

Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast for 20-25 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally, until the sprouts are golden brown and crispy.

While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, whisk together the balsamic vinegar and maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook until reduced by half (about 5-7 minutes).
