These crispy roasted Brussels sprouts with a sweet and tangy balsamic glaze are the perfect side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the Brussels sprouts evenly.

  3. Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast for 20-25 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally, until the sprouts are golden brown and crispy.

  4. While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, whisk together the balsamic vinegar and maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook until reduced by half (about 5-7 minutes).

  5. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the roasted Brussels sprouts and serve while still warm.
