How To Make Peppermint Patty Brownies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8 mini peppermint patties, chopped
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar until well combined.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the chopped peppermint patties, reserving a few for topping.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Sprinkle the reserved chopped peppermint patties on top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
