How To Make Cinnamon Sugar Butter Cookies

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar for rolling
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, ground cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls, then roll each ball in the granulated sugar.

Place the sugar-coated dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
