Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Chocolate sprinkles for coating

Instructions

  1. In a non-stick pan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, and butter.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens and starts to pull away from the sides of the pan (about 15-20 minutes).

  3. Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.

  4. Grease your hands with butter or oil, and shape small portions of the mixture into balls (about 1 inch in diameter).

  5. Roll the brigadeiros in chocolate sprinkles until they are fully coated.

  6. Place the brigadeiros in mini cupcake liners or on a plate, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
