How To Make Espresso Torte
A decadent chocolate cake infused with the rich flavor of espresso.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1/4 cup of brewed espresso or strong coffee
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch cake pan.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Add the brewed espresso or coffee and mix well.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
