  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

  4. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.

  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.

  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

  8. Transfer the cake onto a wire rack to cool completely.
