How To Make Son of a Gun Burger

Juicy beef patty, crispy bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, sweet BBQ sauce, and spicy pickles, all sandwiched in a brioche bun – a burger lover’s dream!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 slices of sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup spicy pickles
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  2. Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Grill burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side, until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  4. While burgers are cooking, toast buns on the grill or in a toaster oven.

  5. In a skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Set aside.

  6. Assemble burger: place cooked patty on the bottom bun, add a slice of cheddar cheese, followed by two slices of bacon, a spoonful of BBQ sauce, and a dollop of spicy pickles.

  7. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
