An incredible hearty dish that'll sure to be a favorite in your household! This recipe makes use of two kinds of meats for a hefty meat base then allowed to simmer down in a pool of rich broth, vegetables and a bunch of aromatics.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless beef , for stew, cut into ½-inch pieces
  • 1 lb pork meat , for stew, cut into ½-inch pieces
  • 2 cups onion, chopped
  • ½ cup Italian Dressing
  • 16 oz salsa,
  • ½ oz beef broth,
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 15 oz black beans, drained, rinsed
  • 4 cups hot cooked white Rice

Instructions

  1. Brown meat with onions in dressing in Dutch Oven on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.

  2. Add salsa, broth and chili powder; stir.
  3. Bring to boil.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover.
  5. Simmer 1 hour or until meat is tender.
  6. Stir in beans; cook, uncovered, 30 minutes.

  7. Serve over the rice.
