How To Make Joella’s Pickles Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4-5 small pickling cucumbers
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dill seeds
  • 1/2 tsp black peppercorns
  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice cucumbers into rounds or spears.

  2. In a pot, heat vinegar, water, sugar, and salt until dissolved.

  3. Place dill seeds, black peppercorns, granulated garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using) into a jar.

  4. Add cucumbers to the jar and pour in the vinegar mixture until they are completely covered.

  5. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least one week before serving.
