How To Make In-N-Out Animal Style Burger Recipe
A classic burger elevated with crispy grilled onions, tangy pickles, and a special sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 sesame seed buns
- 4 slices American cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup sweet relish
- 1 diced onion
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet relish, and white vinegar to make the special sauce. Set aside.

In a pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic, and sauté until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.

Season ground beef with salt and pepper, and shape into 4 patties.

Grill the burgers for 2-3 minutes per side, and add a slice of cheese during the last minute of cooking.

Toast your sesame seed buns until lightly toasted.

Assemble burgers by spreading special sauce on the bottom bun, followed by the burger patty, grilled onions, pickles, and additional special sauce on the top bun.
