Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- vegetable oil, for frying
- powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together milk and egg.

Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.

Heat about 2 inches of oil in a large, deep pot over medium-high heat.

Once the oil is hot, pour batter into a funnel or squeeze bottle with a 1/2-inch opening.

Hold the funnel or bottle a few inches above the hot oil and release the batter in a spiral pattern, overlapping as you go.

Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
