How To Make Fig Newtons Stuffed French Toast
A heavenly breakfast featuring warm French toast filled with sweet Fig Newtons.

Ingredients
- 8 slices of bread
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 8 Fig Newtons
- 2 tbsp butter
- Powdered sugar for topping
Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.

On a flat surface, flatten the bread slices with a rolling pin.

Place a Fig Newton in the center of each flattened bread slice and roll it up tightly.

Heat a skillet over medium heat with a pat of butter.

Dip each roll in the milk and egg mixture and add it to the skillet.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Dust some powdered sugar on top of the French toast rolls before serving.
