How To Make Farmers Market Restaurant’s Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Cut off the tops of the bell peppers, remove seeds and membranes. Cook peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes; drain.

  3. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion until beef is browned; drain. Stir in cooked rice, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper; heat through.

  4. Stuff each pepper with beef mixture and place in a greased 8-inch square baking dish.

  5. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted and peppers are tender.
