How To Make Korean BBQ Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar to make the marinade.

  2. Place the chicken wings in a large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight.

  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the wings from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.

  4. Grill the wings for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and slightly charred.

  5. Remove the wings from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
