  • 2 cups navy beans, drained and rinsed
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.

  2. Add navy beans, chicken broth, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes.
