Ingredients

  • 4 cucumbers, sliced
  • 1 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp whole black peppercorns
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp dill seeds
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil until the sugar and salt dissolve. Remove from heat and let it cool.

  2. In a jar or container, layer cucumber slices with minced garlic, peppercorns, mustard seeds, dill seeds, and red pepper flakes.

  3. Pour the cooled vinegar mixture over the cucumbers, ensuring they are fully covered.

  4. Seal the jar or container and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.

  5. Enjoy the pickled cucumbers as a tasty snack or as a side with sandwiches or burgers.
