How To Make Chinese Chicken Wings

Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp five-spice powder
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- Oil for frying
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger powder, five-spice powder, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.

Add the chicken wings to the marinade and mix until all the wings are well coated. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.

In a separate bowl, toss the marinated wings in cornstarch until evenly coated.

Heat oil in a deep pan or pot to 375°F (190°C). Carefully add the coated chicken wings in batches and fry for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Remove the wings from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
