How To Make World’s Best Pasta Sauce
Noodles are great because they’re versatile in the sense that there are a handful of ways to serve them. And you guessed it: one of the best dishes to try is good ol’ pasta! Ingredients
- 2 cans (400g each) of crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup of tomato paste
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp of dried basil
- 1 tsp of dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp of dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp of dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp of dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp of sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the tomato paste and stir well. Cook for 2 minutes to enhance the flavor.

Pour in the crushed tomatoes and stir. Add the dried basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, parsley, red pepper flakes, sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together.

Bring the sauce to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and let it cook for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Once the sauce is cooked, taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.

Serve the pasta sauce over cooked pasta of your choice. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
