  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup roasted crickets
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.

  2. Squeeze the juice of the lime over the avocados and mash them with a fork until desired consistency.

  3. Add the red onion, cilantro, jalapeno pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  4. Gently fold in the chopped tomatoes.

  5. Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl and top with roasted crickets.
