How To Make Salade aux lardons

Ingredients
- 8 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 head of lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.

In a large salad bowl, combine the lettuce and red onion.

In a small bowl, whisk together the mustard, vinegar, and olive oil until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.

Pour the dressing over the lettuce and onion mixture and toss to coat evenly.

Sprinkle the cooked bacon over the top of the salad.
