How To Make Steamed Clams with Garlic Butter
Seafood lovers are going to enjoy a bite of these tenderly steamed clams! It’s cooked in a delicious garlic butter sauce, and takes only 30 minutes to make.

Ingredients
- ¼cupbutter
- 1tbspgarlic,minced
- ¼tspred chili flakes
- 1cupwhite wine
- 4lbsclams,fresh, cleaned
- salt and pepper,to taste
- 1tbsplemon juice
- ¼cupherbs,chopped, such as parsley, chives or basil
- herb sprigs,for garnish, optional
- lemon wedges,for garnish, optional
Instructions

Heat a large pot over medium heat.

Add the butter, then allow to melt.

Add the garlic and chili flakes, then cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.

Add the white wine and bring to a simmer. Do not boil.

Place the clams in the pot, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cover the pot, then simmer for 7 to 9 minutes or until the clams have opened. Discard any clams that are still shut.

Stir in the lemon juice and herbs.

Serve garnished with herb sprigs and lemon wedges, and enjoy!
