How To Make Roasted Beef Barbacoa
Our mouthwatering Mexican barbacoa is slow roasted to perfect to make the best filling! Serve these in tacos, burritos, and more for a hearty meal.

Ingredients
- 3tbspvegetable oil
- 5lbschuck roast
- 2tspkosher salt
- 1tspblack pepper,coarse ground
- ¼cupapple cider vinegar
- 1bay leaf
- 4garlic cloves
- 1tbspcumin
- 1tbspdried oregano
- ½tspground cloves
- 1lime,zested and juiced
- 3chipotle chilis,in adobo sauce
- 2cupsbeef broth
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

Add the vinegar, bay leaf, garlic, cumin, oregano, cloves, lime juice, lime zest and chilis with its sauce into a food processor, then process until smooth.

Add the vegetable oil on medium high heat, then season the beef with salt and pepper.

Sear the beef on all sides, then turn off the heat and add in the beef broth and pour over the sauce slowly.

Cover and bake for 4 hours.

Remove the beef from the oven, then shred it apart with a fork.

Serve over tacos, and enjoy!
