How To Make Vegan BBQ Chickpea Pizza
Crispy vegan pizza with BBQ chickpeas, caramelized onions, and melty vegan cheese.

Ingredients
- 1 pizza crust
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 can chickpeas, drained
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup vegan cheese shreds
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Prep the pizza crust as desired and place onto a baking sheet or pizza stone.

Brush the BBQ sauce onto the crust.

In a small bowl, mix the chickpeas with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly onto the pizza.

Add sliced onions onto the pizza.

Sprinkle vegan cheese shreds over the pizza.

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
