Ingredients

  • 2 inches of fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 4 lemons, juiced
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 4 cups of water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the sliced ginger and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.

  2. In a pitcher, combine the ginger-infused water, lemon juice, sugar, and remaining 2 cups of water. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.

  3. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the ginger lemonade over the ice.

  4. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
