Ingredients

  • 500ml vodka
  • 100g elderflowers
  • 200g gooseberries
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 lemon, zested

Instructions

  1. Add the vodka, elderflowers, gooseberries, sugar, and lemon zest to a sterilized jar or bottle.

  2. Seal tightly and shake well to combine.

  3. Store in a cool, dark place for 2 weeks, shaking the jar gently every few days.

  4. After 2 weeks, strain the vodka mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the elderflowers and gooseberries.

  5. Bottle the infused vodka and store in the refrigerator.

  6. Serve chilled over ice or use it in cocktails.
