- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
- Vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup, for serving
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking pan.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Stir in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Fold in the chopped nuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
