Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until onions are translucent.

Sprinkle flour over the onions and garlic and stir well to coat.

Gradually whisk in chicken broth and skim milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.

Add dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
