How To Make Spring Roast Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken (about 4-5 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.

Brush the chicken with olive oil and season it with salt and pepper, inside and out.

Stuff the cavity of the chicken with the lemon slices, minced garlic, and thyme leaves.

Tie the legs together with kitchen twine and tuck the wings under the body of the chicken.

Place the chicken in a roasting pan and roast it in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when tested with a meat thermometer.

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
