How To Make Coconut Cupcakes
Delicious coconut flavored cupcakes that are perfect for a sweet treat.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut, for topping
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, coconut milk, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the cupcakes cool completely on a wire rack.

Once cooled, sprinkle shredded coconut on top of each cupcake for extra coconut flavor and decoration.
