How To Make Cranberry Orange Cookies

- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon of fresh orange zest
- 1/2 cup of dried cranberries
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the fresh orange zest and dried cranberries.

Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
