How To Make Portuguese Almond Cookies Recipe
Delicious and nutty cookies made with almond flour and ground almonds.

Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup ground almonds
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp almond extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond flour, ground almonds, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder.

Add the egg, melted butter, and almond extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

Using a cookie scoop or spoon, form the dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the cookies for 12 minutes or until lightly golden brown on the edges.

Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
