How To Make Baja Fresh Beef Taquitos

Crispy rolled tacos filled with tender seasoned beef, cheese and fresh toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced tomato
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

  2. Add chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper; mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Spoon meat mixture onto tortillas and sprinkle with cheese, onion and tomato.

  4. Roll up tightly and secure with toothpicks.

  5. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry taquitos until crispy and golden brown.

  6. Serve with fresh cilantro and your desired dipping sauce.
