How To Make Turkey & Potato Taquitos

We have turkey sandwiched between lovely bread, baked as pie filling, and cooked in a casserole. Whatever way it’s served, turkey meat is a versatile dish you just can’t get enough of.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 12 small flour tortillas
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Sour cream, for serving
- Salsa, for serving
Instructions

In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.

In a bowl, combine the cooked turkey, mashed potatoes, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Take a tortilla and place a spoonful of the turkey and potato mixture in the center. Roll it tightly and secure with a toothpick. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the taquitos in batches until crispy and golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Serve the turkey and potato taquitos with sour cream and salsa.
