How To Make Orange, Oat & Sultana Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1/2 cup sultanas
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a separate large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture, mixing well after each addition.

Stir in the orange zest and sultanas until evenly distributed.

Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
