  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Add the maple syrup and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, and mix well.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are golden brown.

  8. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
