  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon anise extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Add in butter and mix until crumbly.

  4. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and anise extract together.

  5. Gradually add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until the dough comes together.

  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

  8. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
