Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Add the cubed butter to the flour mixture and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut it in until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  4. Pour in the milk and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it comes together.

  6. Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thick. Use a round biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits and place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
