How To Make Jicama and Lime Agua Fresca

A refreshing and hydrating drink made with jicama and lime juice.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 cups of jicama, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup of lime juice
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine jicama, lime juice, honey and 2 cups of water.

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Pour mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a large pitcher.

  4. Add the remaining 2 cups of water and stir well.

  5. Chill in the refrigerator until cold.

  6. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lime wedges.
