2cupsedamame beansin pods
1tbspsea salt
To Serve:
2lemon wedges
½cupsoy sauceoptional
Instructions
Snip off the ends of the edamame beans if they don't come prepared. You can use either fresh or frozen edamame beans.
Steam or boil the edamame beans for 4 to 5 minutes before removing them quickly.
Blanch them for a few seconds in cold water to stop the cooking process. This will keep them crunchy.
Season with coarse sea salt. Stir and serve immediately.
Serve with soy sauce for dipping and lemon wedges.
