Ingredients
4eggs
½cupvegetable oil
½cupdark rumnon-spiced
18 ½ozyellow cake mix
3.4ozinstant vanilla pudding mix
powdered sugarfor dusting
1cuppecans or walnuts, chopped
Instructions
Grab your crockpot and spray it with cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together the eggs, vegetable oil, and rum until they are well-mixed.
Add the cake mix and instant pudding mix, then continue beating until a smooth mixture is formed.
Pour the batter into the crockpot, then sprinkle some pecans or walnuts on top.
Cook it on low for 3 to 4 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
Once your cake is done cooking, let it rest for a few minutes.
Dust it with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes
Instead of powdered sugar, you can also make a glaze. Just throw in ½ cup butter, 1 ½ cup sugar, ¼ cup water, and ¼ cup rum and drizzle it on top of the cake.
