The classic casserole made into a healthier version for a perfect mid-day snack. The sweet addition of the cream of mushroom soup and the crunchy texture of french-style green beans balances out the salty taters.

Ingredients
1 ½lbsground beefround or sirloin
1medium-sized onionchopped
1canFrench-style green beans
1cancream of mushroom soup
1pkgfrozen tater tots
¼cupmilk
1garlic cloveminced
salt and pepperto taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Crumble and brown the ground beef in a skillet with your onion and garlic
Sprinkle salt and pepper and continue to fry until the beef no longer has a pink texture.
Drain any excess liquid. Then place the meat in a 2 quarts casserole dish sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
Layer the beans on top of the meat.
Afterward, cover the top of the casserole evenly with frozen tater tots. Then place it in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, mix the cream of mushroom soup with the milk and pour it on top of the beans and meat
Bake the casserole for 5 to 10 minutes more in case additional browning is needed.
