Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup canned water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper, and mix well.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and crispy, stirring occasionally.

  3. Add chopped water chestnuts and sesame seeds to the skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and honey. Pour into the skillet and stir until chicken and chestnuts are coated.

  5. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately.
