How To Make Cinnamon Apple Yogurt Bowls

Here’s a yummy breakfast or snack idea! This easy yogurt bowls recipe made with spiced apples, raisins, and chopped walnut toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1sweet apple,such as Honey Crisp, Gala, peeled, cored, seeded and diced
  • tbspraw sugar
  • 1tbspgolden raisins
  • ¼tspcinnamon
  • pinchnutmeg
  • 2cups0% fat Stonyfield plain yogurt
  • 4tbspwalnuts,or pecans, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place diced apple, sugar, and raisins in a small pot.

  2. Add ¼ cup water, sprinkle with cinnamon, a pinch of nutmeg, cover, and cook for 16 to 18 minutes over low heat until soft. Set aside to cool.

  3. Divide the yogurt into 2 medium bowls. Top with apples and chopped nuts.

  4. Serve immediately.
