How To Make Vegan Fish Sauce
Dried shiitake mushrooms, liquid aminos, and soy sauce are boiled to make a vegan fish sauce that adds umami to your favorite Asian recipes.

Ingredients
- ¼ oz dried shiitake mushrooms
- 3 cups water
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp liquid aminos
Instructions
- Place the mushrooms, water, soy sauce and liquid aminos in saucepan and stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, then continue to cook until the liquid has reduced in volume by half.
- Allow the sauce to cool, then transfer to a glass jar and cover.
- Use as desired. Enjoy!
