How To Make Tamale Dip

  • 8ozcream cheese
  • 2cupMexican blend cheese
  • 14ozcreamed corn
  • 8oztomatoes,dived
  • ½cupsour cream
  • 2clovesgarlic
  • 1tspchili powder
  • cupschicken,shredded
  • salt,to taste
  • 1tspolive oil
  • sour cream, olives, cilantro, etc.,toppings


  1. Coat a 9-inch quiche dish or deep dish pie plate with cooking spray and set aside.

  2. In a processor or blender, mix cream cheese, 1 cup cheese, corn, tomatoes, sour cream, garlic and chili powder until almost smooth. Stir chicken in by hand.

  3. Spoon mixture into greased dish. Top with remaining 1 cup cheese. Drizzle with oil. Bake at 325 degrees F for 45 minutes.

  4. Garnish with desired toppings and serve
