  • 2fresh lemongrass stalks
  • ¼cupfresh ginger,chopped
  • 1garlic clove
  • 1jalapeño
  • 2tbspvegetable oil
  • 2tbspcilantro leaves
  • salt,to taste


  1. In a food processor, combine the sliced lemongrass with the fresh ginger, garlic, and halved jalapeño, then pulse until finely chopped.

  2. Add the vegetable oil and process to a coarse paste. Add the cilantro leaves and process until fairly smooth.

  3. Season the wet rub generously with salt.

  4. Use as desired and enjoy.
