How To Make Hot Crab Appetizer

A creamy horseradish and cream cheese base, seasoned with onions, salt and pepper, then ultimately accentuated by meaty crab chunks and almonds for a full-bodied dish.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • oz crab meat, drained
  • 2 tbsp white onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp horseradish, cream-style
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • cup almonds, slivered

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a bowl, combine the ingredients except for almonds and mix well.
  3. Pour into greased 6-by-6-inch casserole dish or baking pan.
  4. Top with almonds.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until heated through.
  6. Remove from oven while still hot and serve with crackers. Enjoy!
